family-game1From September, 2016, over 40 international students from Germany, Japan and Spain will arrive in Grey and Bruce County for a unique international education program arranged by Muskoka Language International (MLI) in partnership with the Bluewater District School Board. MLI has been organizing student exchange programs for over 20 years. Three years ago they opened up Grey and Bruce Counties as destinations for students and I am very excited to bring an ever-growing number of international students again for September 2016.

During their stay, the students will integrate into classes at schools across the region. This program will givestudents the opportunity to experience living in another country and will allow them to improve their English proficiency. The students will stay with host families from Meaford, Wiarton, Owen Sound, Port Elgin, Kincardine, Hanover, Walkerton and Flesherton during their time in Canada.

Muskoka Language International is currently looking for families to host these students. Should you be interested in being a host family please contact Sarah Cook at 519-379-3896 or [email protected] to learn more.
