masque ballTickets are still available for the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce Masque Ball on Oct. 28

"We are very excited to be offering this gala dinner again this year," said Executive Director Deborah Barker. "Presented by sponsoring hosts Diana and Tony Ersser of Canadian Tire in Owen Sound, it promises to be a great evening."

The dinner, being held at the Bayshore Community Centre on Friday, Oct. 28, includes dinner, dancing and live and silent auctions. Guests are invited to wear their finery and, if they wish, an elegant masque. The evening starts with a social hour at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7.

Catering is by the Green Door Café, event décor is by Memorable Designs, and we are pleased to welcome our Gold Level Sponsor, Amber Jenings of PEAK® Point Real Estate Brokerage in Sauble Beach.

Tickets are $100 per person and may be purchased online through the link on our website www.alzheimer.ca/greybruce or from the Alzheimer Society office at 753 2nd Ave. E. or by phone at 519-376-7230.

"We have a completely new line up of live and silent auction items this year and we have focused on experiences including a romantic getaway, a women's weekend in Toronto, caving, and a winter snowshoe hike and dinner" Barker said.

"Last year's first-ever Alzheimer Society Masque Ball was a tremendous success and we are promising even more fun this year. You won't want to miss this elegant evening of fine dining, dancing and support for a cause that is important to us all," Barker said.

"As always, all the money raised will be used in the local Grey-Bruce community to provide information, education, support and counselling services for persons with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, and for their families and their personal and professional caregivers."
