Lake HuronThe Grey Bruce Health Unit, in partnership with the Walkerton Clean Water Centre and with the assistance of the district office of the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change, is hosting a public information session about healthy lakes and rivers.

Participants will learn how government agencies and other organizations are working together to address inland water quality challenges. Also, find out how individuals can contribute to water quality stewardship.

The session is Thursday, May 4, at the Walkerton Clean Water Centre, 20 Ontario Road, Walkerton. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. Tours of the Centre will also be available.

A detailed agenda for the session will be posted closer to the date on the Grey Bruce Health Unit and Walkerton Clean Water Centre websites.
