Plaque GardenThe Sydenham Bruce Trail Club warmly welcomes the public to join us for a brief ceremony unveiling our new plaque garden. These plaques honour the many generous donors who help fund the Bruce Trail Conservancy's Land Acquisition Program, preserving a ribbon of wilderness, for everyone, forever.

The event takes place Sunday, June 10, at 2:30pm at the BTC's Lindenwood Property. To get there, take Grey Rd.17 north from Owen Sound, and turn right, east, on Lindenwood Rd. for 0.8km to parking lot on right. Everyone welcome.

Light refreshments to be served. Call Sandra J. Howe at 519-477-1537 for more info.

A leisurely hike to explore the forests, meadows, and alvars of the beautiful Lindenwood Property will follow the unveiling ceremony. This easy hike covers 2.3km along the Bruce Trail, Alvar, and Lindenwood Side Trails.

Visit a massive glacial erratic. See endangered butternut trees. Learn about unique alvar habitat. Witness spring unfolding on this retired farm land.

For more info on the hike, contact leader, Peter Harris at 519-374-3468. Happy Hiking!
