South Bruce Peninsula Town ofIn response to recent restrictions imposed by the Province, the Town of South Bruce Peninsula will be closing the Wiarton Arena and the Sauble Community Centre effective December 24, 2020 at noon. The closures will remain in effect until the Provincial health regulations allow a return to indoor recreational activities.

Campground site reservations will be taken be telephone only (519-534-1400 ext 132). Please expect it to take several days to receive a confirmation call-back. We will return all booking calls in the order they are received.

Town Hall will be closed on December 24, 2020 at noon and will reopen on January 4, 2021. We will not be accepting any in person payments or other in-person business. If you need to pick up or drop off documentation, please call (519-534-1400) or email during regular office hours (8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, excluding holidays) and we can arrange for curbside pickup/drop off.

Attendance at public meetings and Council and Committee meetings will be permitted, however, the number of attendees permitted in the Council Chambers will be limited. In the case of public meetings, you may be required to wait outside until called upon to speak.

Garbage and recycling collection and access to the landfill site will continue in accordance with our established schedules.

Snow removal services and emergency response services will continue, as usual.

Our community has pulled together and we trust that the next 28 days will assist in the fight against COVID19. Take care and stay safe.
