chapmans ice creamNew ice cream innovations from Chapman’s Ice Cream are on their way to stores across Canada. The largest independent ice cream manufacturer in Canada hopes to fill up the frozen aisles of most store chains by April 1st with new products.

“Our innovation is mostly driven by Canadian consumers. We receive hundreds of emails and requests every day from Canadians asking for their next dream frozen treat to come to life,” said Ashley Chapman, VP of Chapman’s Ice Cream. “We always try to bring the most popular ideas to fruition.”

The Pistachio and Almonds flavour will join the Premium ice cream family. It combines lusciously creamy ice cream with a savory-sweet nutty flavour profile. The almond pieces throughout offer a satisfying sweet-and-salty crunch. Pistachio is undoubtedly one of the most popular flavours around the world and much loved by Canadians.

Chapman’s new Super Twister ice cream cones feature classic flavours in innovative format. Each sugar cone is filled with a swirl of vanilla and chocolate ice cream. These cones are available in two varieties: one with a salty caramel core and the other with a sinfully delicious chocolate centre. Each package includes two different cone types to add to the assortment. These products are manufactured in a Peanut/Nut Free facility. Chapman’s is known for commitment to various dietary restrictions, being the first in Canada to introduce peanut/nut free ice cream products over two decades ago and currently offering the largest variety of these products across the country.

Cookies and Cream ice cream bars are the newest addition to the Chapman’s Canadian Collection. With only 55ml per serving, this classic flavour is re-imagined in a perfectly portioned dessert. Chapman’s iconic vanilla ice cream mixed with crushed chocolate cookie pieces and dipped in a premium milk chocolate with more cookie pieces! “Cookies and Cream, in our 2-liter containers, has been one of our top sellers for years. In this new on-the-go, single serve format, we anticipate it to be quite a hit,” said Ashley Chapman.

Chapman’s has been operating out of Markdale, ON since 1973. The current product lineup includes more than 180 frozen treats – including premium ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet, water ice and a range of other novelties.
