isolation

For a third time this week the Owen Sound Police have charged a 26-year-old Owen Sound man after he refuses to isolate. The male after testing positive for Covid-19 had been ordered to remain in his residence for the required isolation period. Once again, this individual was found to be outside his residence in the down town core of the city for non-essential reasons. He received another $880.00 fine contrary the Health Protection and Promotion Act.

Two other Owen Sound residents who had been ordered by the Grey Bruce Health Unit to isolate after a positive Covid-19 test result, have been found as well to have total disregard for the order and the potential harm to others.

A 38-year-old female and a 28-year-old male were both charged early Friday evening under the Health Protection and Promotion Act, each receiving a fine of $880.00.
