  • Kincardine Hamper Program at St. Anthony’s Church
  • Walkerton Optimist Club
  • Tiverton Lions Club

  • Paisley Hamper Program
  • Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation
  • Saugeen First Nation
  • Owen Sound Salvation Army

The fundraiser is open to Bruce Power employees and contractors, as well as the public. Tax receipts will be issued.

Bruce Power’s supplier partners have kick-started the fundraising with a donation of $10,000 through Bruce Power’s Charitable Events Sponsorship Program, said Dwight Irwin, Bruce Power’s Manager of Community Relations.

“We are fortunate to work with suppliers who share our commitment to our local community, and I want thank them for this generous donation,” Irwin said. “Contributions made from our employees, suppliers, and community members will go a long way to brightening the holiday season for many local families.”

Bruce Power will also contribute $5,000 to locally run toy drives and hamper programs in each of Bruce, Grey, and Huron counties.

To donate, visit www.brucepowertoydrive.com. Donations will be accepted until Nov. 22.
