The Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library will be closed Saturday, February 19 to Monday, February 21 to allow for a major server migration over the holiday long weekend. The Library will re-open with full service on Tuesday, February 22 at 10:00 am.

Please be aware that beginning on Saturday, February 19, there will be a scheduled outage affecting library services. We are encouraging all patrons to stock up for their long weekend ahead of time.

Our drop box remains open, but please note that staff will not be able to check any returns in until our system is back online on Tuesday. Due dates and hold pickup dates will be extended to allow for the closure.

Basic search functionality in our online catalogue should be available, but patrons will be unable to place holds, renew items, check their account, etc. Visit the Library’s online catalogue here: https://osngupl.bibliocommons.com/.

Our website and the My OSNGUPL mobile app will be unavailable.

Online resources such as OverDrive/Libby and PressReader will be unavailable. Any resource that requires you to log in with a library card number will be unavailable.

How long will the outage last?

Our vendor plans to complete the work by Saturday evening. Should there be any issues or delays, work will continue into Sunday, February 20.
