Celebrate the richness of Anishinaabe history and culture with Jason W. Johnston, Interpretive Program Coordinator, Cape Croker Park. Jason is Anishinaabe from Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation, and has worked in the field of Indigenous tourism and education for 15 years.

Learn about the history of the award winning Ziibaakdakaan Maple Syrup operation, cultural teachings, and some Anishinaabemowin language. 

Jason will also be speaking about the Anishinaabe Cultural Experience programs that Cape Croker Park offers throughout the year, including traditional plant use, wildlife identification, and wilderness skills.

Admission is free.
