polar plunge

The Owen Sound Police Service unfortunately had to postpone the 18th Annual Polar Bear Plunge that was to take place Saturday March 11th 2017 at 1:00pm.

With safety always being paramount the organizers have had to postpone the event due to unsafe ice conditions.

"This is the first time in the 18 year history of the Plunge that Mother Nature did not cooperate with us, it is sad to postpone the event but for everyone's safety it is the best option. We look forward to seeing everyone come out on the new date to take a dip and support our local Special Olympic Athletes" – Jana Waghorn Chair of the Owen Sound Police Polar Plunge Committee.
