The kind of good news/good news you love to hear in the local business scene, from Jennifer Smith at The Milk Maid Fine Cheese and Gourmet Food.

"We wanted to let you in on a few amazing and exciting changes that are taking place at the Milk Maid.codyhawes
I have offered, and Cody (Kitchen Manager Extraordinaire) has accepted, to take over ownership of The Milk Maid!
This will allow me to throw myself back into my Massage Therapy career and spend more time with my kids and my lovely nieces.
Cody has been with The Milk Maid since two weeks after it opened, and, let's be honest, runs the show already! We have been making decisions for the business together for 2 1/2 years, and during that time she has made some amazing connections in the Culinary and Beverage scene in Grey and Bruce, so I can think of no one better to carry this business forward. She is a wealth of knowledge about cheeses and will be able to help anyone, from the novice to the connoisseur, in their perfect selection.
There are a few big changes in the works....
sconesFirstly, we are having an espresso machine installed this week, so going forward you will be able to get a cappuccino or latte with your scone or brownie.
Secondly however, the lunch service will phase out after Thanksgiving. We appreciate immensely all the love and support all you lunch-lovers have shown us. This decision was not made lightly. In order to adapt to a changing industry and demands on employers, we will focus on what we do best; our epic scones and baked goods, cheeseboards and catering.
SO NOW IS THE TIME....IF YOU WANT ONE LAST AMAZING GRILLED CHEESE OR QUICHE AND SALAD THERE IS NO TIME LIKE THE PRESENT!
Please pop by and wish Cody all the best in this new adventure."
