OS-Policesept-fullAn Owen Sound Police investigation into a two vehicle collision on 10th Street East led to charges against both drivers Thursday evening.

The investigation revealed that at approximately 9:00 p.m. last evening a 2010 Ford sedan driven by a 22 year old Bruce County woman was turning west onto 10th Street East from 18th Avenue East when she failed to negotiate the turn . Her vehicle struck a 2007 Hyundai sedan that was being driven east bound on 10th Street East by a 17 year old Chatsworth male.

Damage was moderate and the woman's vehicle needed to be towed from the scene. The woman was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with failing to share the roadway. The other driver did not have his documentation in order and was charged with failing to produce his driver's licence.

Motorists are reminded that it is a requirement that you have all of your documents with you while driving on the highway.
