Grey-Bruce-Public-Health-UnitThe Grey Bruce Health Unit has been able to identify the owner of a dog involved in a biting incident that occurred in Kincardine on Saturday, August 18, 2018.

With the dog owner coming forward, staff of the Grey Bruce Health Unit are able to verify the health of the dog. As a result, the victim will not require post-exposure rabies treatment.

On Saturday, August 18, at approximately 4:00 p.m., a man was bitten by a medium sized, brown/brindle colored dog of possible boxer/mixed breed. The incident occurred at the natural grassy area entrance to Station Beach in Kincardine. The dog was on a leash at the time and later muzzled by the owner.
