GBFW websiteGrey Bruce Farmers' Week is inviting the public to explore its new website. GBFW.ca has been developed to ensure that potential GBFW conference attendees and agribusiness have all of the information they require at their fingertips. The GBFW website and conference information has been laid out to provide the ultimate user-friendly experience with enhanced search capabilities, navigation and functionality throughout. This new site also has online registration payment opportunities.

Grey Bruce Farmers’ Week is a 7 day Agricultural Conference. It has been a main stay in the fabric of local Agricultural for over 52 years. 2019 will mark this conference’s 53rd year of continuous producer education. It will also mark the second year that the content will be shared across Canada and beyond via live streaming.

As GBFW seeks new technology to expand the audience base beyond the Grey Bruce borders via live streaming, it seemed timely to create its own independent website that parallels this new technological step forward. The GBFW information had been shared to date on the Grey County Agricultural website, but the planning committee felt that it was time to profile this outstanding event on its own platform.

The new site, www.gbfw.ca, includes extensive information about this 7 day agricultural conference. The information for GBFW19, January 3rd to 9th, at the Elmwood Community Centre, is updated regularly as the planning continues. The daily agendas, speakers, panelists, topics, exhibitors and sponsors are profiled in detail. An extensive FAQ page has been created to anticipate any questions that prospective attendees may have. Extensive information about the Live Streaming viewing option is also highlighted. Recent facebook posts and tweets are also shared on a number of the pages.

GBFW has always been proud that pre-registration was not a requirement of the conference. Now attendees have a choice! Registrants can still pay at the door in Elmwood using cash or cheque, or they can pre-register online and purchase their ticket via paypal if they would rather pay by debit or credit. All live stream attendees can purchase their tickets on the website. The GBFW planning team has tried to make this payment process as smooth as possible. If producers need assistance with the process, they are encouraged to call 519-986-3756, or email [email protected]

The dates for GBFW19 are as follows:

Dairy Day, Jan. 3, 2019
Goat Day, Jan. 4, 2019
Sheep Day, Jan. 5, 2019
Horse Day, Jan. 6, 2019
Beef Day, Jan. 7, 2019
Crops Day, Jan. 8, 2019

Visit the new Grey Bruce Farmers’ Website www.gbfw.ca. GBFW hopes that everyone will find this information valuable and the experience positive.
