Road closed sign winter

Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) urge motorists to avoid all unnecessary travel until such time that it is safe to travel. Police are receiving reports of numerous vehicles stranded. No county or municipal snowplows are operating at this time due to the dangerous driving conditions.

All motorists are encouraged to check weather and road conditions by calling 511 or by checking online at www. 511on.ca for current road conditions for provincially maintained highways. Monitor local media outlets as well as individual municipal web-sites.
