From an office on one of the oldest properties in Owen Sound, Rob Warrilow of Commerce Point Software has developed a powerful new application. cpDESK is being released to the public on November 26th, 2019 – live at the meeting of the Grey Bruce Tech Network at the Sydenham Campus at 7 p.m., and simultaneously streamed.

Simple enough for novice designers to look professional and powerful enough to run enterprise-level ERP/CRM portals. cpDESK is truly an example of art meets science. Whether you're a design company creating fully customized enterprise-level applications or a freelance designer producing simple applications for small local businesses, cpDESK will change how you run your business and support your clients.

Fast and powerful customization with minimal coding needed, cpDESK is designed to reuce development time up to 75%. Developer Robert Warrilow says as a secure, adaptable and expandable application, accessible for a range of devices, it's an application for users from manufacturing companies to nonprofits.

Warrilow says, “Companies with multiple locations can use cpDESK to provide customized access to web-based applications such as Microsoft Office or Google Docs, offer secure access to internal training videos or manage inventory.”

Social Service agencies can use cpDESK to provide secure access for staff to track clients, appointments and private information. Clients can access their own information including appointments and schedules.

Manufacturing companies can use cpDESK to track orders, inventory, production, and shipping. Because cpDESK can be cloud or LAN based, manufacturers no longer need full computers on the production floor. Production stations can access just-in-time production schedules and work instructions on low-cost tablets.

Nonprofits can use cpDESK to create secure custom portals for local branches, provide secure databases of members. The head office can access all branch data, while branches access is siloed.
