All are welcome to join in a peaceful march for families and communities most impacted by anti-blackness, injustice and inequity.

The march begins Wednesday, June 10 at 4 p.m. at  the Owen Sound Farmers' Market and ends at the Black History Cairn at Harrison Park.

In the words of the organizers:

"We MARCH for lives lost to violence!
We MARCH against police brutality towards Black people!
We MARCH to show solidarity!
We MARCH against systematic oppression!
We MARCH because BLACK LIVES MATTER!

We will march for Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Regis Korchinski-Paquet and all those before whose names we know and those names we do not know.

If you’re experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms please stay home. Maintain social distancing of 2 meters throughout the march.
It is well-advised that you wear a mask that must cover your NOSE and MOUTH.
Please bring water and any essential needs that you will require. Washrooms will not be available.

Please create signs Ex: Black lives matter, I stand in solidarity with Breonna Taylor, Silence=Violence, Enough is Enough."
