town of south bruce peninsula town hallThe Town of South Bruce Peninsula will partially reopen its municipal office located at 315 George Street, Wiarton on June 15, 2020 and operate Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The Town Hall washrooms will remain closed to the public.

Community Services, located in the Ross Whicher Centre will also remain closed.

Upon arrival, customers will ring a doorbell at the south entrance to Town Hall. Only one person may enter at a time and will be asked to sanitize their hands before entering. Masks must be worn so please bring your own. We cannot supply them.

The only services provided at this time will be payment of taxes and accounts receivable in addition to applying for and picking up licenses and permits.

We would like to remind the public that if they have a fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat or shortness of breath that they should not visit the office. Instead, please use our online services at www.southbrucepeninsula.com or contact our office for support at 519-534-1400.

Landfill Hours
On June 15, 2020, the landfill site will resume regular summer hours. For information regarding the hours visit our website or call Town Hall 519-534-1400. Acceptable methods of payment will be by account for contractors and cash, cheque or debit for all other customers.

Dog Tags
Residents must license their dogs. The early-bird rate for dog tags will end on June 30, 2020. Standard rates will apply beginning on July 1, 2020.
