fire chat fullBruce Peninsula OPP investigating house fire. The house was completely destroyed, serious injuries to occupants.

On October 30, 2018 at 3:47 a.m. Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to a fully engulfed house fire on Spry Lake Road, South Bruce Peninsula. Officers located three people inside the residence and a fourth person staying in a second structure on the property.

South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department and Bruce County Paramedics attended the scene. All the involved people were transported to hospital for medical treatment. A 17-year-old male has suffered life-threatening injuries.

Police remain on the scene and continue to investigate. The Ontario Fire Marshal has been contacted.

Spry Lake Road, between Bruce Road 13 and Bryant Street, is closed until further notice
