fire chat fullBruce Peninsula are investigating a house fire in South Bruce Peninsula. Police have released the scene and the injuries to occupant upgraded.

On October 30, 2018 at 3:47 a.m. Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to a fully engulfed house fire on Spry Lake Road, South Bruce Peninsula. Officers located three people inside the residence and a fourth person staying in a second structure on the property. A 17-year-old male suffered life-threatening injuries.

As of October 31, 2018 the 17 year-old male's injuries were upgraded to serious.

The Ontario Fire Marshal has completed their scene investigation and police have released the scene. The house fire is not being treated as suspicious.
