Ontario Provincial Police LogoA male has been charged after killing roommate's cat.

On March 8, 2019 around 8:30 p.m. Grey County Ontario Provincial Police attended a residence on 30 Sideroad in the Township of Chatsworth in response to a cruelty to animal call.

Investigation revealed that a male threw his roommate's cat against a wall after the cat had urinated on his sandals. The cat was thrown with such force that it had killed it.

Ryan Crocker, 21-years, of the Township of Chatsworth was charged with the criminal offence of Killing, Injuring or Endangering Animals other than cattle. He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on April 4, 2019 to answer to the charge.
