opp cuffs fullOn May 25, 2019 at approximately 7:00 p.m., members of the Grey-Bruce Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police attended Eagle Street in Saugeen First Nation after receiving a report of two suspicious males in the area.

Police attended and found the males sitting inside a Ford F250 pick-up truck with an attached trailer. Investigation revealed that the trailer had been reported stolen more than a year ago from the Municipality of Brockton.

A 27-year-old from Faraday Township and 28-year-old from Southampton were arrested and each was charged with the following criminal offences: Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 and Obliterated Vehicle Identification Number.

Both accused are scheduled to appear in court in Walkerton on July 10, 2019.
