tire winter opp fullOn March 2, 2020 at 9:34 a.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a pick-up truck on Collingwood Street West, Meaford in Grey County, with expired validation sticker. The driver failed to produce a proper Ontario driver's licence and valid insurance for the vehicle he was operating.

Grey Bruce OPP have charged the driver of the truck, a 17 year old from Meaford, with the following offences,

Class G1 licence holder - unaccompanied by qualified driver, section 340/94 5(1) Highway Traffic Act (HTA) Regulations
Drive motor vehicle with no currently validated permit, section 7(1)(a) HTA
Operate a motor vehicle without insurance, section 2(1)(a) Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act
The accused was issued 3 provincial offence summons and is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound.
