On August 25, 2020 at 7:42 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a motorcycle crash along Concession 10 in Elderslie Township. Officers arrived with members of the Grey-Bruce OPP and Bruce County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and found the motorcycle in the south ditch.

The operator, 62-year-old Muriel Thaw of Saugeen Shores, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) unit attended to assist the South Bruce OPP with this investigation.
