attack-red-fullThe Owen Sound Attack has announced that sophomore forward Aidan Dudas has earned the Huron Tractor Supply Player of the Week honour for Week 6 of the Ontario Hockey League season.

A native of Parry Sound, Dudas scored three times while also adding an assist in the team's trio of games against the Kitchener Rangers, North Bay Battalion, and Windsor Spitfires.

After scoring eight goals and recording 13 assists for 21 points in 56 games as a rookie last year, Dudas has already surpassed his goal total with nine tallies in just 14 games to start the season this year. He has also chipped in with another four helpers, putting him on pace for 63 points this year.

A two goal effort in the Attack's 5-2 win over Kitchener on Friday night kick started Dudas' weekend. He then assisted on Zachary Roberts' game winning goal on Saturday against North Bay before opening the scoring on Sunday in the team's loss to the Windsor Spitfires.

Dudas now has a four game point streak going, and he will look to continue that when the Attack head to Mississauga to take on the Steelheads on Friday, Nov. 3.

Highlights of Dudas' weekend can be found HERE.
