During the August 13th, 2018 Council Meeting Mr. Brian O’Leary violated the Code of Conduct for Council Members. His statement regarding my letter is a matter of public record. By stating the letter contained no truth, he in fact lied. Mr. O’Leary had first hand knowledge of the events outlined in the letter and as such knowingly made a false statement with the intent to mislead Council. He failed to act with honesty and integrity. He slandered me by stating my letter contained no truth. My letter contains many statements of fact. All of which are verifiable by the City of Owen Sound’s and the Owen Sound Downtown Improvement Area’s own records. I have included an original of the letter as well as a broken down version citing the factual sources to aid your investigation as well as copies of relevant documents.
