opp assault full

On November 9, 2018 at 7:29 p.m. Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to an address on Artemesia-Glenelg Townline in Grey Highlands for a family dispute. Two males were involved in the incident, one left prior to police arrival. Police spoke with one of the involved males.

On November 10, 2018 at 2:17 a.m. members of the Grey County OPP received a report of a sudden death at the same address on Artemesia-Glenelg Townline and re-attended. Police were assisted by Grey County EMS. A male, who spoke to police earlier, was located on the property deceased.

The OPP has notified the province's Special Investigations Unit (SIU) which has invoked its mandate. As a result, the OPP will not be able to provide any further information.
