winter drivingOn January 28, 2019 Grey County Ontario Provincial Police responded to eight single motor vehicle collisions where the vehicles had left the roadway and drove into the ditch. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

Winter driving means reduced visibility and traction so it's imperative to drive according to the current weather and road conditions. Avoid a collision by staying in control of your vehicle at all times. Also,

- ensure all the windows of your vehicle are clear of snow and ice

- reduce your speed

- leave extra space between vehicles

- and avoid any sudden braking, accelerating or steering.

Remember - see and be seen - drive with the vehicle's headlights / taillights on.
