Owen Sound's 2022 Arts and Culture awards were handed out at a festive event at the Georgian Bay Centre for the Arts yesterday. The winners included those talented people who work professionally in the arts and celebrated those many volunteers who bring culture and heritage aiive in our community. According to Statistics Canada, between 2001 and 2015, homicide rates for Indigenous women were nearly six times higher than for non-Indigenous women. A risk of such magnitude requires us all to take responsibility,
