Lisa Leona Maas was 22 years old and 5 months pregnant when she was last seen alive on July 17th 1988, leaving a male friend's residence alone in her car after a farm house party in the area of Annan, Woodford and Owen Sound.
Her green 1976 Plymouth Fury was found two days later in Annan stuck down an impassable road, and approximately two weeks after Lisa went missing, her license and some were personal papers were located several kilometres east of the vehicle location.
Over the course of 29 years, Lisa's parents, detective agencies and OPP have worked to locate Lisa, but no further trace of her has been found.

The independent documentary film that opened this year's Hot Docs Festival - "Bee Nation" - will be presented on an outdoor screen in Harrison Park on Friday, July 21, starting at 8:30 PM. The filmmaker Lana Šlezić will introduce the film and participate in a panel discussion after the presentation. As you know the TOM has undertaken a careful due diligence process in regard to the Old Courthouse and Jail as the site of our new expanded Art Gallery. The Gallery Board has spent a considerable amount of time, effort and money over the last ten months.
The Courthouse site offers a number of advantages. However, the due diligence process and pre-consultation discussion with the City has revealed a wide range of concerns. These include insufficient parking, unknown heritage compliance requirements, building height restrictions, to name just a few concerns.
