A Customer Origin Survey will be conducted in Owen Sound over the next few weeks by representatives of the Downtown Revitalization Project.
The purpose of the survey is to determine the place of residence of shoppers so a trade area for Owen Sound can be determined. Combining this information with data from Statistics Canada and standard consumer spending practices, much can be learned about the profile of existing shoppers and about those who reside in the area but who may not now shop in downtown Owen Sound.
