The Paramedic Ride will be travelling through Bruce County on Sunday, October 2 and Monday, October 3. This Memorial Ride, featuring fifty cyclists and five ambulances representing Paramedic Services from across Ontario, is traveling from Windsor to Tobermory on a four-day cycling trek (September 30 to October 3).
The Paramedic Ride is dedicated to strengthening the Paramedic community and commemorating those Paramedics who have lost their lives in the line-of-duty. Funds raised will support the Canadian Paramedic Memorial Foundation, Boots on the Ground, and Camp F.A.C.E.S (through the Canadian Critical Incident Stress Foundation).
On Sunday, October 2, the Paramedic Ride will travel through Kincardine around 12:00 PM, ending in Port Elgin around 3:30 PM. Click here to see the route.
On Monday, October 3, the route for the Paramedic Ride will see them depart Port Elgin at 8:00 AM and arrive in Tobermory around 4:30 PM.
Please be aware that traffic on the route will not be impeded but may be slowed down.

Bruce County Paramedic Services employs a staff of about 100 Full-time and Part-time paramedics that provide pre-hospital care to citizens and visitors of Bruce County. We respond to medical and trauma emergencies with a fleet of 12 ambulances and 3 supervisor units that are stationed in 7 communities across the County but can be deployed anywhere as needed.
