Members of the Owen Sound Police Drug Unit have concluded a four month investigation into Methamphetamine and cocaine trafficking in Owen Sound. The Drug Unit, assisted by the Criminal Investigation Brach and uniform Patrol executed Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants at a downtown east side apartment and an east side commercial building. Approximately $3,500.00 dollars worth of Methamphetamine, cocaine, and drug trafficking trade tools were seized.
A 25 year old Owen Sound man is charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. He will appear in Owen Sound court for held for a bail hearing today.
Three other Owen Sound men ranging in age from 30 years to 49 years old are charged with various offences including possession of prohibited weapons, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marihuana and failing to comply with probation orders. These male will appear in Owen Sound court on May 12th, 2015 to answer to the charges.
