Celebrations, including those that are cultural and religious, are important activities for mental and social wellbeing. Celebrations and gatherings provide a way to feel connected to our family, friends and community during COVID-19. Events and gatherings have the potential to increase the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
The Town of South Bruce Peninsula Town Hall will be closed to the public effective 12:00 pm (noon) on Monday December 20, 2021. Staff are available to assist by telephone and email. We are taking these actions as a precautionary measure in response to the recent COVID surge.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit received lab confirmation that a case of COVID-19 Omicron Variant has been identified in the community through diagnostic testing. It takes about 10 – 14 days for the results to return. The Omicron Variant is considered a variant of concern as it is more transmissible.
