On Thursday, Aug. 24, at approximately 6:00 p.m. The Owen Sound Police Service received multiple calls from citizens regarding a male trying to forcibly enter an east side residence to confront the resident who was known to them. After failing to gain entry, the male fled from the area in a vehicle, striking two vehicles that were travelling on city roadways.
Another call located the man at a west side apartment building, and the responding officers determined that the man was in possession of a sawed-off shotgun that he had concealed down the front of his pants ...

As a Bed and Breakfast, we have occasion to send our guests downtown for dinner almost every night of the year.
No one has EVER had a problem with safety issues. Of course, some have mentioned that they didn’t like seeing people doing drugs, or needles lying around, (which is definitely not OK!), but not one person has said that they have ever felt unsafe or been accosted by anyone ...
