It struck me that people don't talk much about human rights anymore, so I looked though the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights, which I remember from high school. I'm also trying to ground my perspective from a place of morality, instead of starting with 'what rural Canada is' as my grounding point, as culture is wont to do!

Violence Prevention Grey Bruce has launched a creative contest for youth in Grey and Bruce counties. The ‘Art for Change’ contest invites students in grades seven to twelve to create visual art or 60-second videos that raise awareness about healthy and unhealthy relationships. The contest will culminate with a gala event in February to showcase the submissions and announce the winners.
