The City of Owen Sound is pleased to announce the opening of 'The Buff Bistro' at the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre (JMRRC) beginning April 2016.
Council approved the signing of a five-year lease agreement with John Bartley, Terry Bartley, Kimberly Bartley, Mark Bartley and Jacob Bartley, to operate a concession 'The Buff Bistro' as part of the Operating Agreement the City has with the Family Y.

Summerfolk Music and Crafts Festival Announces Lineup
The Georgian Bay Folk Society is releasing the performer lineup for the 41st annual Summerfolk Music and Crafts Festival. Every day until March 31st the Folk Society will announce one of the acts to appear on the stages of Summerfolk 41 at Kelso Beach in Owen Sound, August 19-21.
