The Georgian Bay Symphony is launching an online 50/50 raffle. The Jack Pot that starts at $1,000 will continue to grow as tickets are purchased. And there is a $500 Early Bird draw on Friday May 14. The 50/50 raffle is a provincially licensed and online lottery at www.gbs5050.ca.

Other organizations across the province have had great success with their 50/50 lotteries with large month Jack Pots. The Symphony is hoping for the same success. With lost revenue from ticket sales and cancelled fundraising events, the orchestra is looking for alternate revenue to keep the music playing.

This season the Symphony went digital. The concerts have been artistically successful but have not generated the kind of revenue that live concerts do. With continued uncertainty about when live concerts will happen again, the Symphony needs money to keep operating and prepare to perform back in our venue at East Ridge School.
