Friday, May 29th at 8PM, Mossy Gatherings presents Ariana Nasr chante Piaf (Ariana Nasr sings Piaf) at The River Café, 986 Main Street. Ariana, a singer, multi-instrumentalist and recovering anglophone of Afghan/Canadian decent, will perform the music of Edith Piaf. Monday, June 1st, at 7:30PM, the Georgian Bay Symphony Youth Orchestra invites you to their annual year-end performance featuring vocalist Sylvie Annette Kindree, cellist Keira McArthur and with special guest classical guitar soloist Camille Belair conducted by GBSYO Music Director Richard Mascall We will be performing works by Handel, Brahms, Warlock, and Rodrigo, as well as a world premiere by our guitar soloist, Camille Belair. Also our own Keira McArthur will be performing the cello solo of Richard Mascall's Namegos (Sacred 'Lake Trout') from Awesiinyag, his brand new "native Carnival of the Animals".
