Canadian singer-songwriter Josh Ritchie releases new music this fall with his sophomore album, Love at the End of the World. Josh will be preforming a show celebrating the release at Heartwood Concert Hall In Owen Sound on the same night.
After success with his previous releases, Louder in 2019 and a self-titled EP earlier this year, Ritchie really hits his stride as an artist and performer with this album, settling into his own unique style of art-centred, story-telling rock.
Ritchie will also be able to return to the stage with a full-length release show at Heartwood Concert Hall. This will be his first fully crafted show post COVID, and the up-and-coming 22-year-old has been plotting his return for nearly 2 years.
Ritchie is a born performer. Ever since he could stand he's had a guitar in his hands and songs in his bones. He is eclectic, charming and captivating, approaching every show with the energy of a sold-out stadium. If this is your first Josh Ritchie show it certainly won’t be your last.
A flare for theatrics and significant musical chops aren’t all Ritchie brings to the table. This fresh new line up of songs showcase the power and range of Ritchie’s writing. From fun-loving anthems designed for a concert sing-along to his powerful protest songs inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement, these tunes will get you thinking, feeling and joining in.
The Love at the End of the World release show will be at 7:00 PM Sept. 30 at Heartwood Concert Hall in Owen Sound. Tickets are available now at heartwoodhall.ca. The album will be available for purchase and download on all streaming services. For more news about the album and shows follow Josh Ritchie on social media @joshritchiemusic.
