SweetWater Music Festivals continues to offer music-focused programming this winter through online opportunities free for all to enjoy. Along with July in January (11 free online concerts including one from SweetWater until February 28), Season Two of Into the Music begins on Thursday, February 17 at 4 pm live on Zoom. Session One features the Rosebud String Quartet along with pianist Philip Chiu. The five will talk about their careers and music in the post-pandemic era with host and moderator SweetWater Artistic Director Edwin Huizinga. The Rosebud members (Aaron Schwebel, Sheila Jaffé, Keith Hamm, Leanna Rutt) will also discuss what goes into performing as a quartet. The Quartet along with Chiu performed together during mainstage concerts at SweetWater 2021 last September. Everyone who registers also can be part of a question and answer segment with the musicians.

Into the Music was launched in early 2021. To date, the online, interactive conversation with musicians from Canada and beyond has featured four sessions. Along the live edition, each Into the Music session is recorded and available to hear as an audio podcast. To catch up on past sessions, you can hear them by visiting the Into the Music page on sweetwatermusicfestival.ca .

To attend Into the Music, you must register in advance and receive your online session admission no later than noon on February 17. To register, go to the Into the Music Eventbrite page.

SweetWater thanks Canadian Heritage for their support of Season Two of Into the Music.
