southern rockRemember the days when Southern Rock music ruled the airwaves? Soaring twin guitars, exceptional vocals, timeless anthems.

The Cooper Brothers will be performing a BRAND NEW show entitled the Southern Rock Revue at Meaford Hall in Meaford, Ontario on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 7:30 p.m.

The Southern Rock Revue pays homage to the classic hits and some deep cuts from this unforgettable musical era, featuring songs by The Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38-Special, Charlie Daniels, The Marshall Tucker Band, ZZ Top, The Atlanta Rhythm Section, The Outlaws, Little Feat, The Eagles, The Black Crowes, Gov't Mule and many others.

When it comes to tributes, it doesn’t get any more authentic than The Cooper Brothers, who were part of this incredible music scene back in the day when there they were signed to Capricorn Records in Macon, Georgia and toured North America alongside many of these legendary acts.

With such classic hits as “The Dream Never Dies”, “Rock and Roll Cowboys”, “Show Some Emotion” and “I’ll Know Her When I See Her”, The Cooper Brothers took command of the radio airways throughout North America, with three singles cracking Billboard’s Hot 100. “The Dream Never Dies” went on to become one of the most played songs on U.S. radio in 1980 and earned an ASCAP Award as such. At home here in Canada, the band was voted “Best New Group” in 1978, “Best MOR Group” in 1979 and “Best Overall Group” in 1980 by the Canadian Contemporary Music Programmers.

Signed to celebrated Capricorn Records in 1978, The Cooper Brothers gained international attention and toured with such renowned acts as The Doobie Brothers, Black Oak Arkansas, Joe Cocker, Charlie Daniels, Atlanta Rhythm Section, McGuinn, Clark and Hillman, Seals and Crofts amongst many others. Their debut release, simply titled “The Cooper Brothers” garnered rave reviews right across the U.S., inspiring a radio DJ in Atlanta to say “Hot damn! The Eagles are dead…..long live the Cooper Brothers.”

The Cooper Brothers are lead by the band’s original members and founders Dick & Brian Cooper alongside Rob Holtz, Jeff Rogers, Darwin Demers, Sheri Harding, John Steel and they’re sounding better than ever!

Take a nostalgic trip back in time with The Cooper Brothers  Southern Rock Revue, to when real bands played real music and great songs, soaring harmonies and guitars reigned supreme.
