We came. We saw. We painted.
Over the past two years, Holger Majorahn, Jennifer Stenberg and their canine friends, Diego and Panda, criss-crossed throughout eastern and western Canada in their trusty (well, most of the time) Roadtrek on an unforgettable adventure.
What started out as a discovery voyage - a chance to see and paint some of Canada's most incredible scenery - turned out to be much more. The separate trips, first west and then east, took a total of three months and covered around 20,000 km.
The friendly characters they met in every province, the music, the art and the food all play a part in their latest creations, a collection displayed at the beautiful Meaford Hall until March 5.
Cross Canada is on the walls now and you can meet the travelling painters this Saturday, January 16 from 2 - 4 p.m.
The Meaford Hall Galleries are open seven days a week, but as there are occasionally private functions happening it is a good idea to confirm hours at 877-538-0463.
