Local sensation The Downright to open

The Human Rights, a nine-piece reggae band, will have you dancing at Heartwood Concert Hall this Saturday, April 2nd starting at 9pm. The Downright will be opening this exciting evening. Doors open at 8:15pm. Produced by Big Sugar frontman and Canadian music icon, Gordie Johnson, their brand new self-titled album is their most ambitious record yet, a powerful statement that the heartbeat of roots reggae in Canada has never been stronger.

Join The Human Rights and help spread the love and Canadian reggae culture. 10% of all proceeds go to benefit ReggaeForRefugees.

Tickets will be available at the door until sold out. There will be vegetarian chili from The Bleeding Carrot available for $5 a serving.
