Calling all Crafters! Are you skilled in:
Knitting Crocheting Pottery Quilting Canning Painting Tatting Spinning Weaving Sewing Gardening Woodworking Cooking Baking Carving Or something else?
Billy Bishop Home: Museum, Archives and National Historic Site is looking to engage seniors, both men and women (60+), as instructors for our "Crafting Community" project to make sure that those skills are not lost.
We will supply: material, supplies, and have supplies available for the group to use and/or purchase to create their own handiwork.
These workshops will be documented and an exhibit will be mounted at the end of the project highlighting the crafts created by your students during the project. Workshops can be held at the Museum, or a location of your choice.
If you are interested in being part of "Crafting Community" and sharing your skills with others, please contact Diane Sprung at the Billy Bishop Home & Museum 519-371-0031 or email at [email protected] to discuss this project.
