Owen Sound, Ontario – Thursday, June 9, 201 6 - The TD Harbour Nights Concert Seriescelebrates its 15th annual season with a special anniversary party on June 19. The outdoorconcert series occurs every Sunday to August 14 with a special extra concert on Wednesday August 3. All concerts are free and donations are appreciated.
TD Harbour Nights Concerts take place at the Inner Harbour behind the Visitor Information Centre, 1155 1 st Avenue West, Owen Sound. Audiences are reminded to bring their own lawn chairs. In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be relocated to the nearby Legion Auditorium. Except for the June 19 anniversary party, all concerts begin at 7:00 PM.
The Launch Party on June 19 starts at 1:00 PM with a selection of Summerfolk Youth Discoveries – the 'legends of tomorrow' including Jake Feeney, Brontae Hunter, Marshall Veroni, and more. This will be followed at 3:00 PM with the David Fromager Band, playing a mix of David's original country-rock and classic rock music. Then JUNO Award winning blues master Morgan Davis concludes the day at 7:00 PM. A food truck will be on site, and the audience will be offered free slices of anniversary cake.
