Best-selling Canadian author Robert Rotenberg will be at the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library Thursday, October 6 at 7:00 pm.
The Library is pleased to welcome Robert Rotenberg to read from his latest book Stranglehold in partnership with the International Festival of Authors and Lit On Tour, the touring programme of IFOA Ontario. Following the reading, local writer Richard Thomas will talk with the author about his background, his upcoming works, and the writing process. A book signing and opportunity to purchase books will follow.
Robert Rotenberg is one of Toronto's top criminal lawyers and the author of several bestselling novels, including Old City Hall, The Guilty Plea, Stray Bullets, and Stranglehold. The four novels in the series feature Detective Ari Greene. Set in Toronto and southern Ontario, readers will discover favourite sites and learn about the intricacies of our legal system all while following an exciting criminal investigation.
"When asked what to read next, I recommend Robert Rotenberg's books as often as I can", says Chris Carmichael, Support Services Manager. "I enjoy the characters and love learning new details about one of Canada's great cities. We are excited to have him visit our library."
In its tenth year, Lit On Tour, an initiative of the International Festival of Authors, partners with libraries, bookstores, universities and community organizations across the province to present the world's best writers of contemporary literature as part of its touring programme, IFOA Ontario. Events include readings, interviews, round table discussions and public book signings. IFOA Ontario programming for 2016 starts October 4 and runs until November 9.
