A hilarious, heartfelt journey into the lives of two men on their last fishing trip together.
Optimistic poet Wes and testy businessmen Don have returned to the fishing lodge they built after the war for one last trip to cast their lines. It is intended to be a weekend of fly fishing and bonding-two things the estranged buddies haven't done in ages.
A pressing issue hastens the need to resolve decisions made by both over the years. It is a rollicking hilarious road to resolution for the two best buds.
The production of the Fly Fisher's Companion will be offered at the Marsh Street Center on June 14th and 15th and at the Meaford Hall June 24 and 25th (matinee). The play is produced by the Meaford Theatre Company and is sure to please.
