Host of the "Debaters" and the 5th favorite son of John & Kathleen Patterson, Steve Patterson will be at Meaford Hall.
Familiar to hundreds of thousands of Canadians as the host of CBC Radio One's hit show "The Debaters", Steve Patterson is a veteran headline comic who has performed all around the world. In 2016 he added published author to his repertoire with the critically acclaimed "The Book of Letters I Didn't Know Where to Send" and self-produced "Smartass-ociates" brining top Canadian newsmakers together with top Canadian comedians to make smart people funnier and funny people smarter.
Steve has performed his comedy all across North America and all around the world in places like Australia, Ireland, Switzerland, and the UAE. Wherever he performs his fierce Canadian pride shines through! Which is likely why he's taped national television specials each year since 2002 including; numerous Just For Laughs galas, Halifax & Winnipeg comedy festivals, and brought funny to the world of film critiquing as a host and moderator of Short Film Faceoff.
Steve is now embarking on a new national theatre tour to mark his 20th year in Canadian show business with his aptly titled "The 20th Anniversorry Tour".
With material that covers everything from personal stories to social commentary to songs that aren't pop hits but should be, Patterson is out to prove that, 20 years in, he's just reached his comedic peak. To anyone he might offend, he's sorry in in advance. And to anyone he's offend along the way, he's sorry in retrospect. But fans of Patterson will know, the only thing he might really have to apologize for is making people laugh to hard.
Enjoy an evening of laughter on Thursday April 19th, 8:00 pm at Meaford Hall. Tickets available at the Box Office, 1-877-538-0463 or online at www.meafordhall.ca
